  1. Water Safety How we can be safe in and around Water.

  2. Before going in the Water.. • It’s important to SLIP SLOP SLAP! • So SLIP on a HAT • SLOP on some SUNSCREEN • SLAP on some SUNGLASSES • This will protect your skin and eyes from the sun!

  3. At the Beach.. • It’s important to always swim between the flags so a lifeguard can see you. If you are in trouble wave your hand high above you for help.

  4. Swimming… • Never swim alone, make sure you can see an adult at all times and they can see you in the water. • Do not jump into water without checking – • How deep is the water? • Is there anything at the bottom that may hurt me? • Can I get in the water and out again safely or do I need someone to help me?

  5. Remember!Be safe in and near water and never swim alone! Desi the duck loves the water But likes to stay safe!
