Major Responsibilities To be a teacher you have a lot of requirements. You are responsible for each student you attend to and have several grades to keep track of. Based on training, there’s classes throughout the year you have to take to obtain more experience. Organization is very important so you can file documents without getting confused. It can be hard work.

“Day in the Life Of” Waking Up: Alarm goes off at 6:00 am. and I get out of bed to pick a skirt and sweater or some nice dress outfit to wear. Ending Your Work Day: I’ll pack up anything I need for the night to work on or go to another side job. For dinner I’ll eat at my house or with my parent’s. On occasion my friends might come over or invite me to eat out. Start of Work Day: For breakfast I have Honey Nut Cherrios cereal and raspberry yogurt with nuts. I drive to school in my Subaru. I arrive in 20 min.. Morning Responsibilities: Write beginning assignments and homework on the white board in my room. Gather handouts to give to my students and start grading papers if time allows. Lunch Responsibilities: Help students who might need to make up a quiz or test in my room. Some kids who get in trouble eat their lunch in my room or makeup work. If none of that happens I either eat in the teacher’s lounge or in my room with friends as I make lesson plans or score papers. Afternoon Responsibilities: Make sure students write homework down and start cleaning up. I could have bus duty or a meeting. Some days I’ll have extra training classes to attend.
Art Image My project represents me because on the stand it has stickers that provides clues to my personality, such as animals and pets I like. I think dogs and cats are cute. My initials are EKA. I’m an A, B student and usually happy. The hearts tell you I like to watch movies about love. A sun is the impression of summer which is a fun season for me. Music is a lot of fun. I love to listen and dance to music. I have a guitar and microphone I play with sometimes. Inside me is a mixture of interests and fun facts, I hope we have something in common.
Guidance Counselor- I like to work with kids on issues they might have. Having an office has always been a hope for me. Athletic Trainer- I love sports and teaching people how to do something. Plus, I get to play as a demonstration. Choreographer- I have a passion for dance and like assisting others in performing. Other Possible Careers

Summary Slide Yes, I would like to keep pursuing this career. It has always been my favorite thing to do and a job I would enjoy. Teaching and working with kids is appealing to me. I’ll probably continue to research education jobs so I will be ready and prepared to obtain training when I’m older. Background knowledge is always important. To prepare for this career, I can apply for internships to become more experienced. With practice I will be able to maintain the responsibilities of an education major. Once I reach the goal of teaching I will know enough to be a good middle school teacher.
