Public engagement • “We are committed to public engagement, with extensive public and stakeholder engagement activities with teachers and students and with North West communities” • “We are committed to engaging with our community, our University alumni, schools and the public in general, with the aim of increasing awareness, interest, enjoyment and understanding of science. The exchange of knowledge and ideas is of benefit to us all and the ability to communicate our research through a variety of media and outreach events is essential” • “Meet the Scientist” events • Manchester Science Festival and National Science and Engineering week • “Elevator Pitch”
