In 1996 an Telenor project «Seniors and Information Technology» wasstarted, thatinspired to start anotherprojectwhichwascalled ”Internet Senior” • The projecthad as a goal to educatesmallgroupsof seniors, age 55+, whothenagainwouldeducatenewgroupsof seniors • And early 1998 a ”Seniornett Norge” boardwasformed • One of Seniornett Norges greatestenthusiasts Bodil Brøgger becamethe first chairperson

1998: The seniornett websitewascreated • In 1999 Seniornett Norge tooktheinitiative to organize a onedayseminar as a pilot project. This projectwascalledthe: ”SeniorSurf day” • Seniornett-newspapersince 2001.
