  5. U. of O. Mening Vaccination Campaign • One pharmacy gave almost 11,000 doses through mass vaccination clinics • >3,000 additional doses given by community pharmacies

In Response to Public Health Emergencies, Pharmacists Can. . . • Dispense and (sometimes) administer vaccine during outbreaks • Supply antibiotics or antidotes during mass exposures • Assess and meet medical needs among displaced people • Expand healthcare capacity by managing therapy for specific conditions

  7. What are your local hazards and barriers? • Outbreaks • Natural Disasters • Schools • Geography • Travel times • Etc. Could local pharmacies assist?
