How do I earn my Associate’s degree and my Diploma at the same time? • 9th and 10th grade – CORE CREDITS • 11th and 12th grade – Core credits/dual credits (schedule SEOP meeting w/ Mrs. Pugh to discuss dual credits) • Should probably take college classes in the summer • Calvin Black Scholarship • Advanced Placement qualifying scores = college credit
What classes are offered through Concurrent enrollment? English 1010 English 2010 Music 1010 Art 1010 Communications 1020 Literature 2200 Geol 1010 Biol 1010 Govt. 1100 Chem 1010 Criminal Justice College Algebra 1050 Trig / Calculus CNA / Medical Terminology AND MORE!!! Classes offered are generally those required for the Associates of Science degree

New Century Scholarship REQS • New Century Scholarship WILL NOT automatically be given to you because you earned Associate’s Degree and High School Diploma at the same time – there is an application process!!! • TIMELINE Application Available Nov 1st (online) / App deadline Feb 1st / All requirements met by HS Graduation / Verification due Sept 1st REQS = Minimum 3.0 College GPA Minimum 3.5 HS GPA Home schooled student = minimum 26 ACT A.S. earned by date of HS graduation No criminal record/Citizenship required $1250 max per semester (for New Century scholars graduating 2011)
