  3. What is ANGEL? • ANGEL is a web based learning management system (LMS) • Available anywhere • Provides storage of course content and tools • Restricted to registered students

  4. Why should I use ANGEL? • You can make class content and resources available to your students • You can provide discussion tools online • You can track grades within ANGEL that will transfer to the faculty/student portal • You can eliminate the need to copy materials…and better yet, the need to carry those materials to class • You may be able to do quizzes/tests online • You can have students submit assignments online • Students are requesting/expecting anytime access to their course materials and resources

Getting Logged in… • Logging in for the first time: • Must be done via Student Portal: https://portal.conestogac.on.ca • Click on Services tab and then on the Login to ANGEL button • After initial login you can access ANGEL directly at https://angel.conestogac.on.ca • Login instructions are the same for faculty and students

  6. ANGEL Features: • Announcements, calendar and mail • Adding content • Access controls • Discussions and chats • Drop Box for assignment submissions • Quizzes/Tests

  7. How do I get started? • Using ANGEL to enhance in-class delivery is available to all faculty for all courses • Login to the faculty portal: https://portal.conestogac.on.ca//CollegePortal • Go to Faculty tab • Click on Class Lists • Put a checkmark in the “ANGEL based course” column • Course will be available to you the following day
