What is a Social Network?? A social network is a social structure made of nodes (which are generally individuals or organizations) that are tied by one or more specific interdependency, such as: a special or common interest; shared values; visions, etc. The personal or professional set of relationships between individuals. Hands-On Activity (cont’d) Group 1 - Visual Discovery Use the photos sections to search and locate images that represent social networking, education, or their potential relationship. Group 2 - Multimedia Visit a large multimedia archive (YouTube, Slideshare, etc.) and upload relevant resources for our network.

Group 4 - Internet Resources Internet links are an important aspect of an online learning environment. First, how and where should they be stored? Second, what are some of the internet resources that should be added to this network?
