Putting it Together, Together When IT professionals are included in the data management planning process, they can provide information on existing services and work towards planning an infrastructure that meets future needs. Working together we can uncover potential opportunities to cooperate and share resources.

  6. The Way Forward • The LSA Joint IT-Research Committee is working to develop the policies and best practices that will guide research groups and IT staff in data management planning. • Data management planning is a work in progress.
