Commonwealth Investment SS Act 1 of 2008 The Alternative Energy Investment Act - $165 MM for loans and grants to spur the development of alternative and renewable (except solar) energy projects - $80 MM in grants and loans for economic development projects in the solar sector

EECBG: Conservation Works! Current status • $22.2 million awarded to 103 projects for local governments and non-profits. • Over $11 Million in grant funding has been advanced to grantees to date, ranking PA 1st nationwide in EECBG funds spent. • Project Progress: • 12 projects are completed; • Fourteen projects are 75% or greater completed; and • Nearly 40% of all other projects are more than 50% completed
