  14. Meeting Objective The purpose of this meeting is to provide all respondents with a better understanding of the changes that are associated with pipeline and an action plan of how to prepare for the changes. The changes we discuss include data pipeline terminology and process changes. 14

Collection Submission Process • Current Process - ADE • Point-in-time • Level 1 & 2 edits – collection specific • Text files only • Each collection has a collection owner • New Process – Data Pipeline • Interchanges rather than collections • Ed-Fi data model (national standard) • Level 1 business rules • Submission options • Web services or Flat files (Excel, .csv, or text) • Snapshots • Pulls data from interchanges • Level 2 business rules
