More unified procedures New NFSR (Ministerial Decree 54/2014. (XII.5.)): - frame regulation - it stipulates the expected level of safety - 171 pages Fire Protection Technical Guidelines (FPTG) - contains the solutions of reaching the necessary level of safety Fire Safety authoritative activities:: - Integrated staff of 65 disaster managment branches, - nationally determined procedures and case management

Ministry of the Interior National Directorate General for Disaster Management „In the service of Hungary for security!” Results • The number of outdoor (wild) fires decreased by 64% compared to 2012 • The number of residential building fires decreased by 10% compared to 2013 and by 24% compared to 2012 • The number of „christmas, advent” fires were 34% less than in 2013 • Compared to 2012 the number of chimney fires were 12% less in 2013, and 15% less in 2014 • In 2013 there were 50% less alerts to must gas poisoning • Appearance on 491 events, organizers: 469 persons, working hours: 11.067 hours • Involvement of 1300 public servant students
