Editorial Software (1) • Vietnamese team started using Microsoft Word • Later obtained international version of Pansoft editorial software developed for the German translation • Translation team copied and pasted from Word
Editorial Software (2) • Pansoft software designed to use XML format distributed by OCLC and return translation database in same format • Translators need not worry about format • Unless working on an expansion • Pansoft print formatter currently limited to tables, schedules, Relative Index • Vietnamese Manual was done using Word
