  2. BIOGRAPHY Our author is Kathryn Lasky. Kathryn Lasky was born on June 24, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN, US. Kathryn Lasky graduated from the University of Michigan. Later Kathryn Lasky got married to her husband, Christopher Knight. Kathryn Lasky does not have any children, but she has baby goats. Kathryn Lasky started to write books in her early 40’s, she has wrote over 100 books! Kathryn Lasky has a great compassion for writing and she hopes that people loves to read just like she does.

  4. WOLVES OF THE BEYOND In this book “Wolves of the Beyond Frost Wolf” it’s a nonfiction book. Its summer so that would mean fish, meat, and warmth ,but no blizzards have ranked the land. The wolves and other forest animals are trying to survive. In the story the wolf clans are trying to find a masked wolf who calls himself a Prophet. This masked wolf is no Prophet. They need to find him before the blizzard gets worse because instead of being a Prophet he’s not trying to help the wolves stay alive he is trying to starve them. So the clan leader sends Edme and Folan to find this masked wolf. Can they do it? Well you’ll have to read the book and see! I think this book was not my type of book because there were some parts that were confusing and boring.

  5. COMPARE & CONTRAST DIFFERENCES Guardians of Ga’Hoole the main characters has parents however, Wolves of the Beyond the two main characters only has siblings. Guardians of Ga’Hoole the main two characters live in a tree although in Wolves of the Beyond the two main characters live in any parts of the woods. Guardians of Ga’Hoole the two main characters travel by flying as to Wolves of the Beyond they travel by foot. SIMILARITIES • Guardians of Ga’Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond both contain animals. • Guardians of Ga’Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond both have two main characters. • Guardians of Ga’Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond both travel in clans.

  6. GUARDIANS OF GA’HOOLE The book I’m reading is called Guardians of the Ga’Hoole. An owl named Soren was born in the forest of Tyto. One day ,Soren was captured and taken to a dark forbidden canyon. They call it an orphanage, but Soren believes that this place is more like a prison. Soren befriended a young owl named Gylifie, and she was also in the orphanage. Soren and Gylifie are planning, trying to escape this “prison.” This book is a fantasy. I thought this book was ok because there were parts of the book that were slow and non exciting (boring).
