  3. Part 1 • Faolan’s mother is about to have her third litter of pups. • She try’s to find shelter where she can have the pups. • She haves them under a rock ledge in a cave. • She has two pups which are brown and the other pup is silvery gray.

  5. Part 2 • Now Faolan’s mother has to abandon him because he has a sprawled paw he was left at a icy river to die • Even though he was left to die a bear named Thunderheart rescued him and took care of him • She thought him her way like digging and using his sprawled paw
