  3. When precipitation is involved, they use a separate verb for each type of weather. • Il pleut. • Il neige. • Il gèle. • Le soleilbrille.

  4. Les saisons • L’hiver • Le printemps • L’été • L’automne

  5. Negation • Negation means how to say “not” in English. • To say ‘not’ in French you add ne ……….. pas • This goes around the verb. • Je suis grand. Je nesuispas grand. • However, if the verb begins with a vowel then the ‘ne’ changes to ‘n’ ‘. • Elle estgrande. Elle n’estpasgrande.
