Civilization Strategy Cards

The Strategy Card Phase is conducted at the beginning of each turn. One card is replenished or exchanged per turn. Strategy Cards are not usually revealed until they are completed. A few cards are kept until used and allow the player to “Draw Another Card.” These do not have to be revealed.

  1. The Strategy Card Phase is conducted at the beginning of each turn. One card is replenished or exchanged per turn. Strategy Cards are not usually revealed until they are completed. A few cards are kept until used and allow the player to “Draw Another Card.” These do not have to be revealed. Most cards have an Objective and Reward If the Objective is accomplished some time during the turn then it may be revealed during the Strategy Card Phase, replenished, and the Reward obtained. Any unwanted card can be exchanged during the Strategy Card Phase but must have been held for at least one round. Once a new era begins a player can only draw from the new deck. If a card awards a resource to the player then an appropriate unused resource chit is placed on a city and counts toward potential trade and monopoly calculations.
