Benjamin was born on Nov.9, 1731 in Baltimore County, Maryland • Benjamin grew up with his mom Mary, dad Robert, grandmother Molly, grandfather Banneka, and his three sisters. • His grandmother Molly taught him from 6-15 years of age. When he was 15 years old he started to go to school with whites. • He was an astronomer, almanac author, scientist, surveyor, and farmer. • He died on Oct. 9, 1806 on his farm. Personal Information
