Procedure for Unicast (1) • When an upstream LSR allocates a VC-ID downstream upstream ATM Forum Signaling 1. with unique BLLI VC-ID&BLLI 2. 3. associates VC-ID and VC(BLLI) by a dedicated protocol or within a BIND message ACK 4. associates VC-ID and VC(BLLI) The VC is ready to be used!
Procedure for Unicast (2) • When a downstream LSR allocates a VC-ID downstream upstream ATM Forum Signaling 1. with unique BLLI VC-ID&BLLI 3. associates VC-ID and VC(BLLI) 2. by a dedicated protocol or within a BIND message ACK 4. associates VC-ID and VC(BLLI). The VC is ready to be used!
