Cleaning frequencies should be based upon on the number of people using or passing through the space. As a minimum frequency, all ‘high touch’ should be thoroughly cleaned and wiped dry at least twice daily. Make the physical process of cleaning easier by reducing unnecessary clutter and removing any items that are inherently difficult to clean or prevent easy access to all the areas required to be thoroughly cleaned. Additional attention should be given to effectively cleaning all ‘high touch’ surfaces such as electronic devices, remote controls, work-surfaces, light switches, door handles and toilet fixtures and fittings.
