At Home • Turn any lights you are not using • Keep windows and doors shut when using heat and air conditioning • Keep house cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer when your not there • Only run dish washer and washer when full • Hand things to dry and avoid dryer when possible • Energy efficient light bulbs • Unplug chargers and gaming systems when not in use • Recycle plastic, paper and glass

  3. Traveling • Car pool • Energy efficient cars • Take bus or train • Combing errands into one trip • Walk or ride bike if possible • Reducing number of flights you take • Use car with more space to avoid using roof carrier

  4. Food • Drink tap water instead of bottled water • Buy local fruits of grow them yourself • Reduce meat consumption • Buy organic • Buy products produced locally instead of over seas • Don’t buy over packaged products (bulk)

  5. Recreation • Increase your physical activity • Avoid things that’s aren’t man powered, such as quads, dirt bikes and go karts • Go to a community pool instead of having one in your backyard to save water and electricity

  6. Etcetera • Reduce Reuse and Recycle • Donate old electronics • Don’t waste food because producing methane in landfills • Double side print • Bring a lunch • Energy star electronics, appliances and windows • Work from home when can • Maintain steady speed while driving
