Global Links empowers women through education and opportunity.
E N D
Global Links empowers women through education and opportunity. The program sponsors a female Iraqi professor to come to the U.S. for a year-long “learn and return” experience. Tupperware Brands partnered with Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business and the US Secretary of State’s Office of Global Women’s Issues. The program was launched to inspire the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs in Iraq. The one year immersion experience allows a promising and dedicated female professor of business or economics to study entrepreneurship through a train-the-trainer model. The model combines learning of business fundamentals in an academic setting with real world business training at al leading global corporation. The trainer then returns to train students back in Iraq and develop a career center to help guide hundreds of Iraqi university students.
