IPS Database discussion agenda • Queries, clarifications, comments, suggestions or feedback on all aspects of HIPSS • What the database should look like for the multi-station IPS – suggestions? • Is the current set of meta-data parameters sufficient? Anything else anyone would like to see included? • Software Version No. etc. (Tokumaru San) • An assessment of the software available/in use across the institutions, esp. from a perspective of identifying pieces which can potentially be borrowed, and modified and/or integrated into this system - Aber/EISCAT, MEXART, Ooty, STELab, UCSD. • Is someone else willing to contribute effort towards the IPS DB goal, esp. for multi-station aspects. • Any suggestions for funding opportunities for support of this effort?
The HDF5 database for Multi-station IPS data • Scan • Must include meta-data & data from all the participating sites/telescopes • Need to add keyword(s) • No. of participating sites, their locations, physical baselines, projected baselines • Level 1 data • Time series + flagging info. from each of the participating telescopes • Level 2 data • Series of cross spectra for all baselines + the average cross spectra • Level 3 data • Results of a fiducial model fit
Overall structure • IPS DB • Single station data • MEXART • MWA • Ooty • Multi-station data • EISCAT • LOFAR • STELab • Separate Scans table for Single and Multi station data ? • Needs more thought
