  2. ZPORTAL – My Requests • Search for a request by ILLNO • ‘My Requests’ API to allow third party OPACs to view a user’s requests • End User Complete (not Staff Complete) • Users can view completed requests • Display Pickup Location in request details

  3. ZPORTAL – My Requests • Date Shipped in request details • Add Publisher to Request create and display routines • Choose Service Level when placing a request • Warning of cost implications of changing service level

Date Handling • Default the Answer-By-Date by an offset of days from today for: • Conditional • Retry • Will Supply • Default Due Date on Shipped action from one of following sources: • NCIP Circ: Checkout Item response • User Loc Defaults • ILL-Services • Show significant action dates in brief results: • Date Shipped • Date Received • Date Returned

  5. Date Handling • Automatic generation of ILL Overdue message if Lender’s Due-Date has expired and the request status = ‘Shipped’ • Automatic generation of User Alert if Borrower’s Local-Due-Date has expired and request status = Received

WebAdmin Usability Improvements • Add Sort and Dedup of Bib search results • Provide additional work queues for: • No Rota • End of Rota • Provide additional work queues for Rush and Express (ANZ 2006/27) • Re-order Action drop down lists • Ability to delete and reorder items in all WebAdmin drop down lists per screen

WebAdmin Usability Improvements • Display OCLC request number in WebAdmin brief and full request details • Make “Complete” action an ILL action that always updates auth-status to “complete” and sets Date Completed. (Optionally: Deletes remaining rota locations) • Request Copy Function • Patron Name should be displayed on Received Action

  8. End User Alerting • Ad Hoc User Alerts from staff to end users • Allow User Alerts to be keyed to Service-Type (send different Received messages for Loans and Copies) (ANZ 2006/02) • System to send email to administrator if user alert fails

Locations and Users • Ability to create location calendar in WebAdmin • Create/Edit own ILL services through WebAdmin • Create/Edit all users in bureau through WebAdmin (includes changing user barcodes) • Edit own location addresses and decide which are visible • Extend borrowers password field from 20 to 40 characters • Extend location department code from 5 to 50 characters

  10. OCLC Integration • Make use of IFM Web Service for consolidated billing • Create a Location Policy Synchronisation Agent. Program to regularly update VDX ILL-Services records from a central policy directory • Create a Location Details update agent. Program to regularly update new skeletal VDX Locations records with data from a central Locations directory • Allow VDX to receive requests from WorldCat.org via the OpenURL “Request-Transfer-Message”

Miscellaneous • System to send email to administrator if an ILL PDU fails to send or receive correctly (ANZ2006/10) • Reorganise User Loc Defaults by merging Material and Service Level Defaults into a single structure • Auto-Authorise depending upon Material Type and Service Type (ANZ 2005/12) • Different catalogues/searches per service and material-type combination (ANZ 2005/08 ) • Translate incoming ISO ILL Service Levels to equivalent local values • Phase 1 of configurable reporting system using Jasper reports.
