TECHNOBRIDGE SERVICE LLCBiOKS stations of advanced biological treatment of domestic wastewater, w/ capacity of 600 to 6,000 cmpd Process flow chart General information • BiOKS stations with capacity 600 to 6,000 cmpd comprise trains of biological treatment, advanced treatment and decontamination. An every train is capableto operate at 40 to 110 per cent of production rate vs. rated capacity. Hourly efficiency of the stations w/ capacity above 600-700 cmpd is designed taking into account a ratio of maximum nonuniformity of waste supply, which excludes necessity in balance tank installation. • According to TECHNOBRIDGE SERVICE computations, if ratio of maximum nonuniformityof waste supply is below 2.2 and the volume of waste above 600-700 cmpd, then a full displacement treatment technology would be more cost effective.Suggested process allows for substantial reduction in installation area and energy consumption required for mixing, ventilation and heating (if located indoor).Besides, many-hour contact time of a “raw” untreated waste within the treatment facility is excluded. Wastewater treatment stages: • Removal of coarsely dispersed solids. • Biological treatment: denitrification, aerobic oxidation, and nitrification. • Sludge separation and removal of excessive sludge from the system. • Advanced treatment of water on filters with a prism-type polymer medium and adsorbing filters with activated coal medium. • Decontamination of treated wastewater. • Disinvasion and dewatering of sediment.

Standard run-life of amalgam UV lamp is within 10,000-12,000 hours. Applied UV lamps does not contain free Mercury. They employ hard amalgam instead, i.e. alloy of other metals with Mercury. Such a solution allows for substantial decrease in environmental hazards of these lamps. First of all, amount of Mercury is decreased in lamp, second, Mercury is in tied state and pressure of its hazard vapors under ambient temperature is enormously less than of metal Mercury.If amalgam UV lamps are occasionally broken so there is no need for demercurization activities – it is enough to contain amalgam and send it for disposal as a normal fluorescent lamp.

Excessive activated sludge generated in process of wastewater treatment is removed into accumulating tank where it is stabilized and supplies to dewatering thereof.

To reduce phosphates concentration to norm allowing discharge into fishery bodies of water, coagulant Aqua Aurat 30 is used (polyoxialuminium chloride). For disinvasion of wastewater and their sediments Purolat Bingsti is used, a botanical high performance and environmentally friendly ovicide. Flocculant conditioning and dosing station Dosing and mixing of chemicals is performed automatically.
