Atmospheric Radiation Measurements and GPS Station(LBA-RACCI SG-2) -Fazenda Nossa Senhora, Ouro Preto d´OesteArtemio Plana-Fattori and Márcia Akemi Yamasoe (IAG-USP),João Francisco Galera Mônico (UNESP @ Presidente Prudente),and our studentsMarcelo de Paula Corrêa, Luiz Fernando Sapucci, and Marcelo Pinheiro
+ Atmospheric Irradiance Measurements(Downward Longwave Irradiance at the Ground) • goal: role played by air temperatures, clouds, and water vapor onthe longwave radiative transfer• semi-continuous measurements with one Eppley pyrgeometer,following the Albrecht-Cox calibration,since September 12 (Day 255); • during short periods, operation of a second Eppley pyrgeometer,following the manufacturer calibration;

+ Photosynthetically Active Radiation Measurements(Irradiance at the Ground, 400-700nm) • goal: role played by aerosols on the PAR radiative transfer• semi-continuous measurements with one SKYE photometer,allowing Global PAR Irradiances,since September 18 (Day 261); • during short periods, operation of a second SKYE photometer,allowing Direct-Normal Irradiances (through a manually-oriented pyrheliometric tube);
+ Global Positioning System Station(GPS dual-frequency receiver)• goal: column-integrated water vapor content estimates;• semi-continuous operation since September 21 (Day 264); • over four weeks, more than 100 coincidences with balloon-borne soundings at Fazenda Nossa Senhora; • similar GPS stations at Porto Velho and Guajará-Mirim.
