  4. Perseus Fights the Gorgon • Perseus’ mother is planning to marry Polydectes - Perseus doesn’t like Polydectes • Polydectes wants the head of Medusa as a wedding gift! • Athena helps him figure out how to kill Medusa. • Perseus sneaks into her den, and cuts off Medusa’s head!
