About CCBRT HISTORY Vision 1994: CCBRT established to provide Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) 1996:CBR services extended to Moshi 2001: Disability Hospital (DH) opened in Dar es Salaam on land donated by the Government of Tanzania (GoT) 2006:DH surgical capacity expanded 2007: CCBRT and GoT formalized a public-private partnership to establish and operate Maternity and Newborn Hospital (MH) 2011: CCBRT broke ground on MH A Tanzania where people have access to quality disability services as well as safe maternal and newborn healthcare
