Google.com is an online search engine that anyone can use for free. There is a search screen that will find anything within reason of the words or phrase typed into this box. You can look up images, documents, news, videos, and maps on any content area of your choice. • Ask.com is an online search engine that anyone can use for free. There is a search screen that will find anything within reason of the words or phrases typed into this box. You can look up web information, images, city information, audio clips, and blogs. • Yahoo.com is an online search engine that is available for anyone who has access to a computer. Yahoo is set up so that there are easy access tabs for quick searches. Yahoo is also convenient because when typing in a topic to search for, yahoo provides the most used topic in that search. Also, yahoo is a great place for searching movies, jobs, video, and many more. • Overall, these are only a few search engines that people all over the world have access to, as long as they have a working computer. Search engines can be used in classrooms, such as research papers, reports of all sorts, projects, and many more various activities. They are also helpful for teachers, on finding out more about a topic for a lesson plan, and so forth. Description of Search Engines
