So every day is something new and adventurous. I want every student that comes through my door feel special.

Help your Kids Here are some helpful things you can do to help your kindergartener succeed • Work with your child on their fine motor skills (cutting, coloring, gluing, etc.) • Practice with your child on site words, counting, ABC’s, etc. • Read the weekly news letter. I will keep you up to date of what we are learning that week. • Volunteer to help in your child’s class room, field trips, and special occasions . • Ask your child what they did in class that day. • Make sure your child gets a good nights rest and a good breakfast in the morning.

There is information from choosing the right school district to home schooling. I recommend this website for teacher, parents and students alike. http://www.educationworld.com/parents/ • PBS is another great website for everyone. There are lots of articles to choose from. Plus much more. http://www.pbs.org/parents/

  7. Tips for Students • Practice your site words. • Do your homework every night. • Take your time. Slow and steady wins the race. • Use your manners. • Raise your hand in class. • Always ask Me if you do not understand. • Get enough sleep • Do the BEST that you can do.

  8. Helpful Websites for Students • If you love Arthur books and his cartoon you will love this website. There are fun games, print outs, and a friend section. You can even make fun Arthur stickers. http://pbskinds.org/arthur/index.html • Check out Clifford The Big Red Dog. This is a very good website with a lot of helpful games. You can pick from different Clifford stories to read. Or you can pick out one of the educational games to play. http://teacher.scholastic.com/clifford1/ • Dr. Seuss’s website is wonderful.   11. Things to Come :) Day on The Farm: We go to the Lawson Family farm. Where we are introduced to the different types of farm animals. 100 Day Celebration: We celebrate the 100th day of school. Zoo Field Trip: A fun filled day at the Indianapolis Zoo Graduation Day: A nice day to celebrate graduating from Kindergarten.

  12. Just a reminder When a child stays for all day kindergarten, the parents need to check their lunch card regularly. Thanks 
