Prairie dogs cooperate to watch for danger.
Emperor Penguins cooperate by huddling together to stay warm.
Hibernation allows an animal to survive in a cold climate when there is little food in its habitat. In winter, ladybird beetles hibernate in dry, protected places.
Brown bears hibernate in protected areas called dens. During hibernation, an animal’s body enters an inactive state that resembles a deep sleep.
