Automotive mobile services • Interest of CRFiat and Targasys in • Multimedia Car platform (HW, SW, communication modes, …) • Multi Agent System • Reactive • Autonomous: exercises control over its own actions • Goal-oriented • Temporally continuous: is a continuously running process • Communicative: communicates with other agents • Learning: changes its behaviour based on its previous experience • Mobile: able to transport itself from one machine to another • Flexible: able to change dynamically its goals ADANETS-WP1 29/01/2003

Automotive mobile services • Interest of CRFiat and Targasys in • Intelligent Mobile Agent Framework Definition and Development • A standard: FIPA (Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents) • to produce software standards for heterogeneous and interacting agents and agent-based systems • FIPA is active in those directions: • Architectures to support agents’ communicating with each other; • Communications languages and Content languages • Cope with the relationships between agents • A tool: JADE • Jade (Java Agent Development Framework) is a software framework whose aim is to develop a MAS being compliant with FIPA specifications ADANETS-WP1 29/01/2003

Provide agent lifecycle management for the platform Provide Yellow pages service supports interoperability across different platform FIPA-OS • FIPA-OS agent framework provide also guidelines about: • CCL (Choice Constraint Language) to express message contents • - ACL (agents communication language) to make agent belonging to different platform to communicate We are intentioned to use this development toolkit and to be FIPA compliant. ADANETS would be a starting point to work on intelligent agent technology and so we intend to follow FIPA standard. ADANETS-WP1 29/01/2003
