Definition of Pay and Allowances b. The different Pay Forms and their uses c. Differences between ATM, Debit, and Credit Cards d. Benefits and Recoupment

  3. Pay Per Drill • Monthly Unit Training Assembly = MUTA • One 4-hour training segment = Drill period • MUTA4 = Weekend drill with four 4-hour training segments • MUTA4 = Two full-duty days of pay

  4. Allowances If you have to pay for housing/food while under orders, you get BAH/BAS.

  5. Casual Pay Casual Pay Is Not Free Money!

  6. Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) • Make sure it’s right every time!

  7. DA FORM 3685

  8. Direct Deposit • The Army calls direct deposit "SURE-PAY."

  9. ATM/Debit/Credit Card • ATM/Debit Card • Money DIRECTLY out of your account! • Credit Card • Use a credit card ONLY for emergencies. • Pay off your balance EVERY MONTH!

  10. State Benefits • Most states provide benefits for ARNG members.
