  3. Einmal kam ein reicher Mann aus einer großen Stadt in ein abgelegenes und armseliges Fischerdorf.

  4. In dem Fischerdorf sah er am Strand eine Fischerhütte, vor der ein alter Mann saß, der Pfeife rauchte und aufs Meer schaute.

  5. Der reiche Mann ging auf ihn zu und setzte sich neben ihn.

  6. "Warum sitzt du hier und schaust aufs Meer?

  7. Warum fährst du nicht mit deinem Boot raus und fängst Fische"? fragteer.

  8. "Ich war heute schon draußen. Für heute habe ich genug Fische gefangen" sagte der Alte und schaute aufs Meer.

  9. Der reiche Mann überlegte kurz und sagte dann:

  10. "Aber wenn du heute noch mal raus fahren würdest, könntest du morgen dann zu Hause bleiben! Überleg mal, und wenn du morgen wieder zweimal raus fahren würdest, könntest du deine Fische sogar verkaufen!

  11. Und von dem Geld könntest du dir ein größeres Boot kaufen, mit dem du noch mehr Fische fangen könntest, mit dem Geld davon könntest du irgendwann Leute anstellen, die für dich fischen und du müsstest nie mehr in deinem Leben raus fahren!".

  12. Der Fischer überlegte lange und rauchte seine Pfeife, dann fragte er:

  13. "Und was würde ich dann tun, wenn ich nie mehr raus fahren müsste?"

  14. "Du könntest den ganzen Tag hier am Strand sitzen und das tun was du willst" sagte der reiche Mann.

  15. Da nahm der Fischer die Pfeife aus dem Mund und schaute ihn verwundert an. "Aber das tue ich doch schon..."
