Hyperbole Using exaggeration to make a point. Alex is so dumb his brain is a size of the pea.
Onomatopoeia Onomatopoeia-Sound word. Ex- The bomb went boom when it hit the ground.
Alliteration Repetition of a beginning sound. Ex-Alex is as hairy as an ape.
Personification Giving human qualities to something not human. Ex. The leaves danced to the ground.
Idiom Idiom-A well known expression that does not mean what it say. Ex. Her little brother is as sick as a dog.
