Bubbl.us (you know that's not how you spell "bubble" right?) Follow these steps to start your own learning map.
Go to Bubbl.us and log in Click on the “collaborate” tab (Let it load fully) 1) Click on “my sheets” 2) and then start a “new” sheet
Click on the “menu” tab and then click “import” from the menu that pops up
Follow the directions below Choose “replace current sheet” and then the “browse” button.
Open up the student-teacher common folder and get the “bubbleus ignite learning map” file • Go to: • My computer • Student-Teacher common folder (T:/) • Quarton • Teachers • Stephanie Moy • Hand out • Bubbl.Us map • Bubleus Ignite Learning Map.xml (double-click)
Next… • Name your page and save it in Bubbl.us! Name it with all your names before the rest (ex: Miss Moy’s Ignite Learning Map) • Edit your page! Think about all that you have learned this year, both academically (math, science, etc) and technology skills (how to compress a photo, record audio in Audacity, etc)
And then… • You are working AS A TEAM. So for this assignment, you are putting what ALL OF YOU agree you have done or learned (EX: if you ALL learned that conductors allow electricity to flow, make it a bubble. But if only ONE of you learned how to use Photostory, DO NOT make a bubble for it)
When you are done… • SAVE! • Then wait for Miss Moy. She will come around and export your files to a flash drive. • Each of you will be able to “individualize” your maps by yourself in order to add information that YOU want to add (on a different day)
If you are waiting • Make sure your map is saved, • Then you may make a map of your group’s choice. You can map out a book we’ve read, what games you play, etc until I get to your group!
