Conditions that obligate Ghusl • The discharge of sperm • The head of the penis disappears in one of the passages • After waking up finds the presence of thin liquid • Finds the presence of wetness after regaining consciousness • Female’s menstrual period ends • Female’s postnatal bleeding ends • If the aforementioned things occur prior to becoming a Muslim • FardKifaya to bath a deceased Muslim

Conditions that do obligate Ghusl • Madhi • Wadi • Having a sexual dream but finds no wetness • Giving birth without visible blood • Man inserts his penis but there is a cloth • Administrating medicine in the anus • Inserting the finger • Sexual intercourse with an animal without discharging semen • Sexual intercourse with a deceased women without discharging semen • Male penetrates a virgin, though does not break her hymen

Compulsory to wash • The mouth • Nostrils • The entire body • Inner area of the foreskin • Inner part of the navel • For a man to undo his braids and wash the inside • A female is not required to open her braids – provided the water reaches the roots • Skin underneath the beard • Moustache 10) Eyebrows 11) Inner part of the outer lip of the vagina
