Games industry • The video game industry (sometimes referred to as the interactive entertainment industry) is the economic sector involved with the development, marketing and sales of video games. • The games industry make games to influence teenagers and children all around the world, they include such detail and try to define a person without them being real. • The industry have been the creator of all games but the main ones in the UK are : COD (call of duty), FIFA, GTA VI.
Film industry • The film industry or motion picture industry comprises the technological and commercial institutions of filmmaking • The film industry are the creator of many influential and mind blowing creation all around the world receiving many awards and mainly being the most self explanatory item in all industries as you can work films out for yourself. • The film industry has made millions of films but here are some of the biggest: Titanic, Star Wars, Lord of the rings and finally E.T. (Extra-terrestrial)
TV industry • The UK industry is dominated by the major broadcasters, plus a much larger number of less well-known broadcasters and production companies. • The UK’s TV industry has been the creator and big investor in television broadcasting as it dominates some TV channels in the USA. The BBC has the capability to wipe out all channels all together. • There are nine so-called terrestrial broadcasters, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, S4C, SMG and UTV.
Radio Industry • Radio is undergoing a digital revolution - every bit as profound as that affecting TV - and as with all revolutions many of the eventual outcomes are uncertain. • The Radio is listened to all day everyday all around the world, it is a way of concentrating on work and communicating with the general public and telling them all the big stories in the UK and worldwide. • Big Radio stations in UK are: BBC radio 123456, KISS 101, Heart.
Magazine industry • Magazines, periodicals, or serials are publications that are printed with ink on paper or distributed online (or other forms of electronic communication), and generally published on a regular schedule and containing a variety of content. • There are only a few big magazine companies in the UK but each and every magazine makes an impact on each and every reader. • Examples of magazines are: take a break, beano and dandy.
Advertising industry • Advertising or advertising in business is a form of marketing communication used to encourage, persuade, or manipulate an audience. • Advertising is around all of us we cant go a whole day without seeing a billboard, bus stop sign, adverts on TV or even a bus advert. The main reason for advertising is to catch peoples eye to buy their product. • The big adverts of Christmas is normally the coca cola advert, john lewis advert and the Iceland advert.
Music industry • The music industry or music business consists of the companies and individuals that make money by creating and selling music. • In one day you cant go without listening to music, everyday wherever you go you will either hear the radio or just music in general • Big artists around at the moment are : Eminem, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, One Direction and Tinie Tempah
Photography industry • Photography has many uses for business, science, manufacturing, art, recreational purposes, and mass communication. • Photography is used nearly everyday, this can range from snapchat to people taking pictures of artifacts. • Famous photographers :David Bailey, Nigel Barker, Emma Barton, Alexander Bassano, Richard Beard, Cecil Beaton.
TV industry • The BBC – Multi-national it broadcast’s TV and radio worldwide this means it is beyond the UK
