YB0 Hall sensor data analysisMTCC -2006 and Nov 2008 Sorina Popescu Texas Tech University
Overview • I looked on the following measurements: • 2006 and 2008 • Hall measurements registered on MTCC and last November • Magnet readings (in Ampere) for the same period – • many recorded files, but only few could be used. • Hall plate location’s coordinates (from Slava and Alberto): • Angle = 255 • L1 x=-0.56, y=-4.805, z=1.273 m • L2 x=-0.7891, y=-5.66, z=1.273 m • L3 x=-1.06374, y=-6.685, z=1.273 m • Angle = 285 • TC x=0.56805, y=-3.958, z=1.273 m(?) • L1 x=0.795, y=-4.805, z=1.273 m • L2 x=1.0241, y=-5.66, z=1.273 m • L3 x=1.29874, y=-6.685 z=1.273 m

Conclusions • Hall sensor readings (time sampling ~ 20 s, and not constant) are not easy to synchronise with the magnet readings (time sampling 60 s ..seems to be constant) • For future readings should be out synchronise • 2008 vs 2006 data shows on average 5% difference • Btot for 255 vs 285 is good- field is uniform • Endcap files were recuperated – • The rest of the slides have plots per field component for people interested
