  5. Dd Students will pretend to dance while making the d sound in a rhythmic pattern… (be creative!)

  6. Ee Students will pretend to peck the ground and repeat the short e sound every time they peck

  7. F f Students will pretend to fan themselves while saying the letter sound

  8. Gg Students pretend to gulp their drink while saying the g sound, the gopher gulping…

  9. H h Students pretend to be hot with their tongues out, the way a hound dog would pant

  10. Ii Students pretend to tickle under their arms while saying the sound for short i

  11. Jj Students pretend to jump rope while repeating the sound

  12. Kk Students will jump like a kangaroo while repeating the sound

  13. L l Students pretend to lick while saying the sound

  14. M m Students rub their tummy and say mmmm like they just ate something very yummy

  15. N n Students hold their nose and say the n..n..n.. sound

  16. Oo Students say ahhhhh like they are opening their mouth wide for the doctor and make the o..o..o.. sound

  17. P p Students pretend to throw popcorn up or that they have kernels popping in their hands while saying the sound

  18. Qq Students use their hands to look like two ducks quacking at each other and make the sound

  19. Rr Students use their hands to pretend they are robots while saying the sound

  20. S s Students act like they are sizzling sausages cooking in a pan while making the ssssssss sound

  21. Tt Students use their pointer finger to move back and forth like a ticking clock while making the sound of the letter t

  22. Uu Students pretend to tug really hard on a rope while saying uhh..uhh..uhh

  23. V v Students pretend to vaccuum while saying v—vroom, v-vroom

  24. Ww Students pretend to be clothes bouncing around in a washing machine while making the letter sound

  25. X x Students place their hands across their chest in an “x” position and make the x sound

  26. Y y Students pretend to throw a yoyo down and back up while saying the sound

  27. Z z Students pretend zip a zipper up and down while making the letter sound
