  2. Perryman 6 • 704-acre site south of Perryman, MD • Site currently contains five simple-cycle CT units (Units 1-4 & 51) • Proposed addition of (10) new 60 MW simple-cycle CTs • Nominal Generating Capacity: 355 MW to 955 MW (600 MW addition)

  3. Perryman 6 • Air Emission Control Equipment • NOx : water injection and selective catalytic reaction (SCR) • CO & VOCs: thermal oxidation reaction (TOR) systems • SO2 & PM: clean-burning fuels (natural gas & ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD))

  4. Perryman 6 • Water • Proposed • Groundwater: (10) new on-site wells • Municipal Water: Harford County • Other Options • Sod Run? • Desalination?

  5. Construction anticipated to start in the 3rd quarter of 2009. All 10 units to be constructed within 5 years. 2 - 4 units (120 – 240 MW) by June 2010 All 10 units (600 MW) by 2014 Perryman 6
