  2. Know Your Timeline Being a facility manager, one must remember the timeline for other inspections. On-time inspection can help you avoid the citations and penalties from the fire safety authorities. The exception of the hospitals and medical facilities, all the other commercial buildings require to inspect every 4years. However, for the medication facility, the limit is 6years. Delaying the inspection might result in a penalty from authorities.

  3. Find Your Last Report Always keep the last report along with you during the process of inspection. The previous reports will show the number of dampers installed in the facility. The report helps you to understand how much time the fire damper maintenance will take and what kind of updates will be there.
