  2. Boaters should know about registration requirements, recording methods, and title search guidelines for the State of Arkansas • Some states have titling for boats and others do not. Arkansas does issue both. • Go to the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) through its Office of Motor Vehicles in Little Rock. • Boat Registration Numbers in Arkansas start with the letters “AR” • The Reg.
