  2. Judge Miller Judge Miller was Bucks faithful, first owner before Manuel sold him. Buck was the king of the house and did what ever he wants. He went hunting with the judges sons to.

  3. Manuel Manuel was Judge Millers gardener. He had a very bad Chinese gambling problem. Manuel had to sell Buck cause he lost all of his money to gambling.

  4. Man in the Red Sweater This man is important because he broke Buck. He taught him the law of the club.

  5. Francaois and Perrault Francois and Perrault were Buck’s first masters. They bought him to go and search for gold in the North, being Buck’s possibly most loyal and just owners after John Thornton. They taught Buck how to survive and built him to be the dog he is today.

  6. Spitz Spitz was the lead sleigh dog before Buck and Spitz got in a brawl to Spitz’s death. He is very cruel, unjust and brutal. Spitz also picks on the weaker dogs. He was constantly fighting with Buck even though they had a lot in common.

  7. Mercedes, Charles, and Hans They had a big impact on Buck. Mercedes over fed them and so they started to starve. Charles worked him so hard, that he was barley able to move. They were riding along an ice trail when Buck and Hans stopped and left them to go by themselves. After they left, the ice cracked and they sled dog team went under the water.

  8. John Thornton John Thornton was Bucks owner before Buck ran away for a while and came back to a group of Yeehat’s that invaded camp and killed him John Thornton was Bucks most kind, gentle, loyal, and just owner
