  4. German kids… • Play Topfschlagen, (hit the pot) a game in which a child tries to find a pot with a prize inside when blindfolded by banging a spoon on the ground until he/she hits the pot, • Ski on large, snowy mountains, • Fish, And, • Hike on mountains and flat lands.

  6. #2 What are German Kids’ School Subjects Like? German school subjects are just like America’s school subjects! • Mathematics, • Reading, And • Science

  7. But… Children aged 3-6 may attend Kindergarten. The only difference is what grade you are put in (depending on your age).

About the Author: The author of this power point, T.J., chose to research Germany because she would love to learn how to speak German, and decided to start off by researching a German child’s activities. T.J. learned a lot about this country and had fun doing it. With the help of books, the internet, and a teacher, 10 year old T.J. created a superior slide!
