Case History Studies Lesson 4 Case # M3-21 • Commander ‘Larry’ wanted ExCom to vote to approve a dues increase • Asked Secretary ‘Mo’ to make motion to raise the dues, at the next ExCom meeting. • XO ‘Curly’ knew he & other ExCom members did not support this – as a group they decided to do nothing. • At meeting Cdr made impassioned speech, Secy made motion, other ExCom members did nothing • Motion died – for lack of a second >>
