Beatriz Armendariz Is A Highly Qualified Individual • Beatriz Armendariz is a highly qualified individual, with vast amount of experience working as a Lecturer in several leading educational institutions. She is the Founding Member of Grameen Credit Agricole Microfinance Foundation, Paris and serves on its Board of Directors. She is also a Research Fellow and Member of the Scientific Committee for the Center for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi). Her current academic positions are Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University College London, UK (2010 to 2011), and Lecturer in Economics at Harvard University, USA (2010 to 2011).

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM), Mexico. She later joined the University of Cambridge, UK, and thereby completed her M. Phil in Economics in 1986. Besides, she also holds a doctorate in Economics from EHESS, Paris, France, with Dissertation on “Foreign Debt Negotiations: An Historical and Theoretical Analysis”.
