Communications-Electronics CommandSoftware Engineering Center • Maintain Software Readiness • Fix Security Vulnerabilities • Update software so systems are not susceptible to being hacked • Resolve anomalies that prevent mission accomplishment • Example: Fix a software bug that prevents your computer from working • Maintain interoperability with other changing or new systems • Example: Update software on your PC to add a new printer that is not recognized • Currently support 83 major C4ISR and 6 Logistics systems deployed throughout the world with an additional 30 systems becoming SEC’s responsibility over the next five years
