MY Team PMA Core Responsibilities • Develop by working with Program Team, and Backbone engineers plans for each functional work streams and the customization of the FPDS Template. • FPDS deliverables and Critical Metrics are to be included within the MY plan using the FPDS template as a starting point. Program scope and current Ford practices will be used to customize. • Integration of the MY plan with all elements including PMT/PAT Workplans is required. • Establish critical elements for the Powertrain plans and integrate them into the MY plan. • The MY plan is broken into two segments, • 1-- Pre –SI work plan with a high level VPP – M/S and critical high level events only, • 2 – Development of preliminary MY plan (Critical Path items) at SI & • 3 – Final in depth MY plan at SC. • Achieve sign off of MY plan and supporting workplans at or other team-agreed milestone • Use the VPP as the method to record buy in by the various owners of the MY workstreams. • Based on the MY plan, which has been developed and maintained; • Publish a Program specific VPP (Vehicle Program Plan), • Develop and present at the PST accurate 30/60 day forecast, with updated R/Y/G assessments& • Perform risk analysis to identify timing issues and elevate to appropriate forum for discussion and resolution.
MY Team PMA Core ResponsibilitiesCont. • Use the Timing PAT meeting as the forum to resolve identified MY issues. • Generate (KO-SC) and maintain (SC-CC) all PPM related workplans working with PPM Natural Work Group Supervisor and Program Team. • Publish the BirdsEye Report and Health Chart monthly based on the PPM plan. • Develop as required, various adhoc timing studies/charts/reports working with program management and the Program Team. • Track part development beginning with targets and finishing with PSW. Highlight and maintain w/metrics the critical items for that appropriate time frame of the program (SI-LR). • Coordinate the updates Program QOS deliverables in Integrator for each approaching FPDS Milestone (SI-LR) • Maintain on the E-Series Team Home page, up-to-date workplans and current 30/60 reports
PMT/PAT PMA Core Responsibilities • Develop PMT/PAT’s workplans by working with Program Team, Backbone engineers, and Suppliers. • Working with suppliers, obtain and include Commodity workplans in the PMT/PAT workplans. • Ensure integration into Vehicle Level Workplan(i.e. all the "give and get" events are identified on the PMT/PAT Workplans and communicated to all affected teams) (SI-SC) • Working with suppliers obtain the necessary updates (SI-LR) to maintain their plans in the PMT/PAT integrated file. • Maintain subject PMT/PAT plans • Present 30/60 to the PMT/PAT using the current PMT/PAT plan. • Perform risk analysis to identify timing issues and elevate to the appropriate forum for discussion and resolution • Track part development beginning with targets and finishing with PSW including P Authority Status for all new tooled end items (SI-LR) • Update PMT/PAT QOS deliverables in Integrator for each approaching FPDS Milestone (SI-LR) • Support Timing PAT meeting to ensure issues are identified and resolved. • Work with PMT/PAT leaders as required to develop various adhoc timing studies/charts/reports • Maintain on the E-Series Team Home page, up-to-date workplans and current 30/60 reports
PMA - Optional • Perform Design Studio Workplanning functions: • Generate detailed tracking reports on appearance items by commodity (SI-ST) • Attend Clay Reviews, Styling/Issues Meetings (SI-ST) • Track Clay Feasibility for initial release and revisions (SI-ST) • Track Clay Issues for AST agenda setting (SI-ST) • Maintain AST issues list • Perform Open to Go Tracking (CC-J1+90 days)
VPMC Core Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate the Workplanning process for the nameplate • Assist MY team in achieving VPP w/supporting workplans sign off at or other team-agreed milestone • Plan, facilitate and chair the Timing PAT meeting ( which is combined w/Prototype PAT). • Ensure workplan compatibility across model years. • Assist MY team in performing risk analysis to identify timing issues and elevate to appropriate forum (PST Meeting) for discussion and resolution • Attend and support major program meetings. • Assist Model Year Teams, Program Management and the Program Team on development of various adhoc timing studies/charts/reports • Coordinate the day-to-day work activities of all Program PMA’s including resource requirements/workload management, coaching, team building, seat assignments etc. • Update as required Program Cycle data (Milestones in Integrator). • Support PPM Roadshow presentation to Program Team at <KO> and subsequent milestones (KO-CP)
