MAIN PRINCIPLES OF PREPARATION AND DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION • IMF SDDS since 1997 • E. dissemination: Printed form – only annual and quarterly publications, except Monthly bulletin • Publications in *pdf. format available on Internet free of charge (79 publications per year) • Functions of regional offices since July 2004 include promotion and dissemination of information • Less marketing, more promotion and communication • Covers –prepared in-house or outsourced

  5. PUBLIC RELATIONS * Before May 2003 both internal and external visits were counted. ** Only complicated tel. enquiries are registered.

FUTURE PLANS • Further development of free Output DB, by including new indicators according to the approved plan • Publications in *.pdf format free of charge on Internet, taking into consideration the users’ opinions • Advanced more user-friendly Website • Provision of assistance to regional offices in promotion and dissemination • E-library development, including archiving paper publications • Development of Customer DB • Teaching of different user groups in Eurostat data bases (ESDS service) • 2 outsourced opinion poles in 2005 (image and public administration)
